Melburn-Roobaix

Melburn-Roobaix was on last Sunday (Jun 24). For those not familiar with it, it is a 38km bike ride around inner Melbourne, with twelve cobblestone courses and 2000 riders.

Unlike Paris-Roubaix, it is not a race, but in keeping with the “Hell of the North” theme, there were crashes and there was blood, fortunately none it of ours.

Resolutions for next year:

  1. Register early to avoid the 45 minute wait in the queue to collect the musette and map
  2. Wear a costume!
  3. More coffee. More beer.
